What Goes Up Must Go Down

Don't you find it funny that gravity is a governing factor in the way our lives have been formed? Most people don't think about it like that, but how would society be if our gravitational pull towards the center of the Earth. This is a small topic of this blog, but this saying could be applied to everyday life and how everything works on the planet.

Economy definitely has its up and downs, especially during times like what we are going through right now. People always assume for the worse, and this overall could be a good thing and a bad thing at the same time. The pro's would be that companies could plan for the worse and still keep up in the consumption race of society. Another would be that they are trying to be optimistic about what would happen in the near future to their life.

Another thing that I think would apply nicely to this phrase would be the bigger they are the harder they fall. Scientifically meaning that the more mass one has the more force and area they have to hit the ground if it happens. So think about when things fall from the sky. Gravity would over all make them fall at a certain speed and that velocity would increase rapidly over time depending on how big the object is. The impact makes the object seem like nothing compared to the weight that gravity puts on the object.

What’s the use of getting technical when all that ever happens are people calling you things like a geek? Well I am proud to be one and its nice knowing that people think you are what you want.

Now again, lets say you walk up a hill… How will you get down? Well u can jump off the end or walk the way you came. One is the path that people would usually take but what is the point of covering the same path more than once if you want to experience the new. People love to be spontaneous, and hopefully that will stay as itself in the future, because the old can get boring after awhile

Whats The difference between Nerds and Geeks?

Ever since I started attending my high school, it feels like everyone I know falls under the genuine categories that are present in any present time high school. The ones that stick out the most though in m opinion, especially, at mine, would be Nerds and Geeks. Yes there are jocks at our school but they are of a very small proportion compared to all the others. What I find that is even funnier is the fact that I have heard at least ten debates on whether there are more geeks than Nerds at our school.
I just can't keep myself from laughing whenever this subject is touched on. Since this school is technology based, it seems just right for people to be having arguments over some of the smallest things. Since everyone knows everyone you would think people would be more on the drama side of stories and gossip. BUT NO......... it always the small things that get attention not things that necessarily matter our school.
Along with this though I come to the part where I would throw my side of the discussion into play. Maybe I have it backwards but I have my own beliefs on which are which. Kind of whirling away from the other part of this argument, but first I wish that they would get the facts straight before insinuating such things as what takes a majority. Lets see firstly there are many similarities but the point of this is to show the differences. Yes, they are very similar but there is most definitely a line between distinct-ing one from another. ”The Line is very fine, but there is one,” is what I always say, and that usually settles the objective of what side I am on.
NERDS:
Well first on this subject, Nerds have been around a lot longer than Geeks since they were the driving force of our past. They came up with the technology and yadda yadda yadda, but that’s not what I am going into. They if you couldn’t tell are those people you see walking around with those pocket protectors. Like this:
They were the ones that got picked on/bullied by the jocks in the past. Also the stereotypes are usually true. Like having a lisp, glasses, pocket protectors (already said) suspenders, comb over, etc. While Nerds tend to be just regular people, they can look like geeks, with an obsession in a certain idea or subject.

So I guess the real question that needs to be asked for people, is what are you? I would love to get some feedback on opinions and what not.
